Crayola®

As Senior Product Marketing Manager, I led the development of Candy Club’s first-ever licensed collection with Crayola®. This comprehensive project involved overseeing product and packaging development, coordinating photoshoots, ensuring FDA compliance, and creating/approving all sales collateral. I reviewed every component to ensure quality and alignment with both Candy Club’s and Crayola’s brand standards.

Additionally, I developed and launched a specialty Crayola® Colors of Kindness collection exclusively for Kohl’s, which secured a six-figure purchase order, demonstrating commercial success and strong retailer partnership.

After a successful launch of Candy Club’s first licensed collection, Crayola, the path to acquiring a licensing partnership with the globally recognized Disney® brand was established and obtained shortly after.

Sales Collateral, Website, & Email

Following both Candy Club's and Crayola's brand guidelines, I crafted separate marketing materials that supported B2B (wholesale) and D2C purchasers. I reviewed and approved all creative direction and positioning before final release. In collaboration with the Creative Director, we established branded templates for licensed marketing emails, sales one-sheeters, and web banners — allowing us to produce more varied materials while maintaining visual and brand consistency.

I was responsible for creative copywriting and brand storytelling that was utilized across multiple sales channels, digital and print mediums, trade shows, and stakeholder presentations.

The Crayola® collection proved that the right licensing partnership could open doors at the retail level. The Colors of Kindness exclusive for Kohl's not only secured a six-figure purchase order — it established a blueprint for how Candy Club approached retailer-exclusive programs going forward and helped pave the way for subsequent licensing partnerships with Disney® and Star Wars™.
